July Reading Wrap-Up: My Favorite Reads This Month

Welcome to my very first monthly book wrap-up! There’s nothing I love more than getting lost in a good book, and July was no exception. It was a month filled with fantasy, witty romance, and heartfelt stories that had me turning pages long after I should have gone to sleep.

I’m so excited to share my thoughts on the books that made it onto my nightstand (and my Kindle!) this month. So, pour yourself a cozy cup of coffee, and let’s dive in!


What I Read This Month

1. Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

  • My Thoughts: I have to admit, I went into this one a little hesitant, but I was so wrong! Chaol’s journey was so much more powerful and inspiring than I expected. This book was a beautiful story of healing and finding your inner strength. I truly appreciated the depth it added to his character.
  • My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

2. Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

  • My Thoughts: The epic conclusion to this series was everything I hoped for and more. I was completely invested in these characters, and my heart was in my throat for every single page. Getting to see them find their ending was a beautiful, emotional, and heart-pounding journey.
  • My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

3. My Killer Vacation by Tessa Bailey

  • My Thoughts: This was the perfect “escape” read! The banter between the characters was so witty and fun, and their chemistry was undeniable. I was hooked on the mystery, and the romance was just the right amount of playful and sweet. A perfect vacation read!
  • My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

4. Sweet Spot by Stella Rhys

  • My Thoughts: I loved the empowering message in this one! It was so great to see the female lead find her confidence and her voice. The story was a sweet, satisfying romance that reminded me to always stand up for what I believe in.
  • My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

5. The View from Lake Como by Adriana Trigiani

  • My Thoughts: This book completely transported me! The setting in Italy was absolutely stunning, and I felt like I was right there with the characters. It was such a heartfelt and beautiful story about family, love, and what it truly means to find your way home.
  • My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

6. Fake Out Hearts by Nikki Lawson

  • My Thoughts: I absolutely loved this one! From the moment I started, I couldn’t put it down. The characters were so well-written and their emotional journey felt incredibly real. This book had me tearing up at times, and smiling the next. It’s an easy 5-star read!
  • My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

7. Salt by L.A. Ferro

  • My Thoughts: This book was a raw and emotional journey about two broken people finding a way to heal and love each other. I was completely invested in their story and felt every single one of their highs and lows. A truly powerful and beautiful read.
  • My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

8. Falling for You Again by Kerry Lonsdale

  • My Thoughts: I love a good second-chance romance, and this one did not disappoint. It was such a beautiful and emotional story about forgiveness and finding your way back to someone you love. I was completely invested in their journey and was rooting for them all the way.
  • My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

9. Offside Hearts by Nikki Lawson

  • My Thoughts: This was a fun and flirty romance with a good plot that had me hooked from the first page. The chemistry between the characters was amazing, and the story was a delight to read. I loved the sports romance aspect and how it was a quick, enjoyable escape.
  • My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
